A huge congratulations to our  students receiving their Junior Cycle results today. 
We are so proud of you. 
A very informative session was given in school this afternoon by Dr. Susan Kelly from the NCSE on the new RELATE programme.
School of the Holy Spirit will be engaging with this programme over the next two years.
Congratulations to Ruth our Sensory and Play Practitioner on her recent award with Goss-Local business woman of the year.

First senior school assembly for this school year.
The student council introduced themselves and did a short presentation on feeling safe in school.
Mrs Butler explained to all the pupils that her most important role is to keep everyone safe and protected in our school community.
It is only when we feel safe that we can learn.

Happy SNA Appreciation Day 2025!
School of the Holy Spirit is privileged to have 32 amazing SNAs on our staff and a long list of equally fantastic substitute SNA's .
At a time when the role of SNA is much debated we at School of the Holy Spirit can honestly say not one of this group of people operate according to the confines of a job description.
Each and everyone brings their own gifts and talents with them to work each day and this is what ultimately makes our school a happy and enriching place to be.
School of the Holy Spirit is thrilled to have won the AIB  Community Fund worth €26,000.
Well done to Mrs. Butler and Ms O'Reilly who supported us through the process.

Well done to our LCA for setting up this initiative as part of their curriculum tasks.
We congratulate Saoirse who won silver in the IFMA Youth World Championship in Abu Dhabi.
We had a Jersey Day Fundraiser for Saoirse which raised €240.
Well done Saoirse, we are so proud of you.
In early September we supported our 2 Secretaries Olive and Breda in their Industrial Action. 
We hope current negations will go well. 
Great work was completed over the summer holidays to enhance our school. 
External  doors were added to the 3 reception rooms, a new library and classroom were created within the school and lots of painting was completed. 
The school looks great. 
Fr. Dan came for our school blessing to start the new year. 
Welcome Ms. Foley and welcome back Ms Nolan and SNA Ann Colclough.
Big welcome to our new Caretaker Alan Hoyne and new Housekeeper Tayna Stanley.
We welcomed 9 new students in September and wish our 9 school leavers well in the future.
