Students in Class 3 made their First Penance on March 15th.Congratulations to Kate, Oisín, Alexander, Bria, Isabelle and Ríona.
Each class displayed work in the hall on Irish Myths and Legends for Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Look at our boards outside our classes to celebrate Lá Fheile Padriag.
The Student Council and Class 14 made recordings of Myths and Legend for Seachtain na Gaeilge.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Confirmation on Saturday 4th March in St. Fiacre's  Church with Fr. Dan.
We had a visit from Mini the lamb today. Mini is 1 day old. 
A big day for School of the Holy Spirit, as got a special visit from the Minister for Education Norma Foley. 
Class 11 are raising awareness for Rare Disease Day.
LCA Enterprise Task - Dove Deal
Minister of Education Norma Foley got to see BLAST Programme in action with Class 8 on her recent visit.
Bishop Niall Coll and Fr. Dan came to visit our school today.
They met with the 5 students that will make their Confirmation on 4th of March. 
Happy Valentine's Day
Meet our 5 candidates, that will be making their Confirmation on Saturday 4th March in St. Fiacre's Church.
We were delighted Chloe Hayden choose our school to visit.
Chloe has done a huge amount of advocacy work for the neurodivergent population. 
Chloe spoke to our students and held a presentation in school that night. 
Over 160 people attended the talk some travelling from as par as the UK.
Keep up the good work Chloe!!
We were delightedly to receive a letter from our new Bishop Niall Coll.
We look forward to meeting him soon and we hope he keeps us in our prayers!
This is Catholic School's Week.
Each class completed a project on a religious story. 
Fr. Dan visited us on Friday, the Feast of St. Blaise and blessed the throats. 
As part of a short course for the Junior Certificate Caring for Animals, Class 11 and Class 9 participated in taking care of dogs that came for a visit to the school.
Our school is participating in the Aldi Rugby competition.
On the 24th of February, Class 13 will be making chicken fillet rolls for their LCA task, students are advised to bring € with them as the profits from the rolls will go to charity. We hope you look forward to this event, I personally think we'll be better than the delis in places such as Spar, SuperValu and Dunnes Stores.
We have lots planned for Catholic Schools Week.
The Senior classes made lunch for Mrs. Butler.
Khan Kiely from Khan's Bookshop came to the school this week, to recommend books for our school library.

We celebrated our Christmas Mass with Fr. Dan and all our families in the school hall.

We had a very special visitor to our school today, all the way from the North Pole.
It was pure magical.

November is the month when we traditionally remember the members of our school community, families and friends who have passed away. Each student and staff member got the opportunity to place a leaf on our Tree of Remembrance

It's Anti - Bullying Week, we have lots of activities happening throughout the school.
Grace Walsh and Miriam Walsh brought the O'Duffy cup to our school on Monday November 7th following the Kilkenny Camogie Team's All Ireland victory this year.
Well done girls! Up the cats!
Halloween Costume Competition Catwalk through the school.
Student Council presenting Camilla with their Art Prize for Jnr school.
Kate class 11 was the Snr school winner. Well done to the Student Council.
Music Generation - class 13 & 14 students jamming out to 'The Monster Mash'.
We are decorating the school for the school for Halloween. It is great fun.
Tommy Walsh, former Kilkenny hurler and winner of nine All Ireland medals and nine All Star awards gave a training session to Senior Students on October 21st.
Thank You Tommy. Our students really enjoyed the experience and hopefully are inspired to keep up the practice!
Students from classes 11,13 & 14 had a great time at the Comhairle Na Nog AGM on Tuesday in Langtons.
It was a great day. A special shout out to Michael D. who did a fantastic job as a Comhairle facilitator on the day and who is currently the Kilkenny Comhairle representative on the National Executive Committee. 
We are enjoying Maths Week activities this week in our school. 
The School Inspector Ms. Maria McCarty carried out a Incidental Inspection on Wednesday October 12th in the school which went very well.
The Mobile Library is back!
The Junior School is currently renewing their membership for 2022/2023.
Swimming started for the senior students on October 4th in the Watershed.
Music Generation is back and timetabled every Thursday in the school.
Fr. Dan Carroll, our School Chaplin, led a service to mark the beginning of the new school year for staff on Wednesday September 14th after school.

The LCA results came out on Friday September 2nd. We congratulate the students on their success and wish them well in their future endeavours.  
We welcome 10 new students to our school this year, 4 in the intake class and 6 throughout the school. 
Our new principal Ann-Marie Butler started her new job on Wednesday August 31st. Ann-Marie was previously the teacher in the School Leavers Class. We wish her health and sucess in her new position.
